Fall is for Layers + A Fast Friday Contest

Fall temperatures can bring some challenging running apparel choices. Not quite warm, but also not quite cold either. You might find yourself heading out the door freezing, only to be way too warm about a mile in. The solution? Fall layers!

Armwarmers are certainly the most versatile of all fall layers, and arguably the most fun. Throw on a pair of armwarmers with any tee or tank, add Lesley Knickers and you're ready to run in low 40º weather.

Little Wing Runner, Betsy Flood, is wearing the super wicking Feather Burnout Tee in Indigo and Armwarmers in Gold

The Go Long Running Tank lives up to its name and packs extra length for layering. Great for wearing with Lesley Running Tights or other leggings when you want some flattering booty coverage. The Go Long is made of Oiselle’s technical 50/50 blend and feels right at home at yoga or on the road for an easy 5 miles.

While summer is my favorite season, I love the mix and match fun of fall running style. When it gets darker here in Seattle my outfit combos just get brighter!
