Return to the Oval: 2016 Outdoor Track Schedule

We are back at it folks, one of my favorite times of the year...outdoor track season! This time of the year feels a little bit like our country’s weather has a split personality. Little Wing's been posting pics of the major snow hitting Boulder, and yet in our neck of the woods the tulips are blooming and an occasional sixty degree day sneaks in here and there. Tank tops and Mac Rogas anyone? What we're all yearning for is being trackside in the sunshine cheering on our Olympic hopefuls!

With each weekend bringing fast track meets, the anticipation of the Trials in July will be building all spring. This last weekend, outdoor track season began for a few of our elites: Hammer thrower, Britney Henry, opened at the Aztec Invite in San Diego. Erin Osment, 18th place marathon trials finisher, started off her pursuit of a 10k Trials qualifier with a 5k rust buster at the Raleigh Relays paced by Andie Cozzarelli. This coming weekend I am excited to be heading to the Stanford Invite where eight of our women will be racing! And so it begins, the 2016 outdoor track season:
