Run For Every Mother Counts

Fall marathon season is starting in and Every Mother Counts teams across the country are gearing up to run for maternal health. Just because you aren’t donning the singlet on a starting line doesn’t mean you’re left in the dust, there are 4 easy ways to run for more.

1.  Run one (or more) of the four EMC official races this month. From Miles for Midwives 5k in Brooklyn to the Golden Gate Half, pick your event and goal, donate $26 (90% of this goes directly to EMC) on MakeYESHappen and get running.

2. Pull a double by also logging those miles with Charity Miles. Just run the app in the background on your phone and…run.

3. Purchase apparel from Oiselle’s EMC Collection. Oiselle is the official athletic apparel sponsor of EMC. Shop here and 40% of the proceeds go directly to Every Mother Counts. (Hello, rad new accessories for fall 2015.)

4.  Sign up to run a race for Team EMC. For a list of upcoming EMC races click here. Distances range from 5k to marathon, so shake the notion you have to commit to 26.2. (Check out the recent video recap of EMC racing Kilimanjaro.)

It's as easy as 1-2-3...4! You're already running, why not run for more?
