So, what is burning a hole through my racing notebook this week? Besides the HOT sample sale at HQ on Saturday...what is sizzling in the racing world?

This week I am going to highlight a couple of my personal favorites - ones that I am extra excited to watch and hear about...

Friday February 22rd Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championship Seattle, WA

Women's DMR - 7:00pm PT

2012 NCAA Indoor DMR Champions-UW Lady Dawgs

Sunday February 24th World's Best 10k  Puerto Rico

Oiselle Elite Deanna Ardrey - CO

Sunday February 24th Rock and Roll New Orleans Marathon and Half Marathon New Orleans, LA

13.1 - Shalane Flanagan and Kara Goucher

26.2 - Oiselle Ambassador Holly Batchelder

As a female distance runner and track nerd, I love to watch these two training partners and teammates race together again: Shalane Flanagan and Kara Goucher...and in the same city in the marathon, I am hoping that one of our own, Holly Batchelder has a super race..this being the goal race that she has been working toward for several months!

If you are looking to watch some of the best high school athletes in the country, stop by the UW's Dempsey Indoor meet on Sunday night or watch coverage on Flotrack:

Sunday February 24th Brooks PR Meet Seattle, WA

3:30pm - 6:45pm PT

Go Fast. Take Chances!
